Accessibility:
Our charming cliffside setting includes several stairways and no lift or ground-floor access, which may make the hotel unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.

Pets:
Dogs are welcome at our hotel for a non-refundable cleaning fee of £30 per room, per stay, payable at check-in.

Parking:
We are a no parking accommodation, but there are public and residential parking options nearby on Belgrave Road and Park Avenue. The Grove Car Park (2 Marlborough Rd, Ventnor, Isle of Wight PO38 1TE) is a short walk away and offers parking payable by coins, phone, or card. The Isle of Wight Council offer a Tourist Parking Permit and you can find more information here.

Beach Access:
Although we’re not directly situated on the beach, private steps from our terrace provide access down to it. Please note that the path includes a steep hill. Beach towels are not provided.

Bike Storage:
Secure metal bike racks with CCTV are located at the entrance. Please bring your own lock. Guests in balcony rooms may leave bikes on their balconies overnight.

Smoking:
For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking and vaping are prohibited on balconies. Kindly use the designated smoking areas.

Ferry Discounts:
We offer discounted Wightlink fares through an affiliated booking link provided in your confirmation. Discounts vary throughout the year, typically ranging from 15% to 40%.

Extra Beds and Cots:
Jay-beds for children or teens are available at £10 per bed, per stay. Cots can be added for £5 per cot, per stay, subject to availability and room suitability.

Payment:
Payment is due at check-in. We accept credit and debit cards, cash, and Apple Pay. American Express and cheques are not accepted.

Travel Times:
From the ferry ports, travel time to the hotel is approximately 30-40 minutes by car.

Proximity to Ventnor Town Centre:
We are just a 5-minute walk from the town centre.

Nearest Train Station:
The nearest train station is Shanklin, Island Line Railway are operated by South West Rail and you can find more info here.

Nearest Bus Stop (Town Centre):
The closest bus stop is Ventnor Boots, serviced by the number 3 bus. Island busses are operated by Southern Vectis and you can find more info here.

Sea Views and Balconies:
Not all rooms feature a balcony, so please check the room details when booking. All rooms at The Wellington Hotel include a sea view.

Luggage Drop-Off:
Guests may leave their luggage with us prior to check-in and enjoy time exploring Ventnor. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival.

Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi is free, the password will be wellington1

Early Check-In:
Guests may check-in from midday (subject to availability*) for a fee of £10.00 per room.

Late Check-out:
Guests may check-out at midday (subject to availability*) for £20.00 per room. 

Daily Cleaning:
Rooms will not be cleaned every day by default. Should you require a room service from housekeeping, please request with reception the day prior, each time. We appreciate your support in protecting the environment.
